The bus service between Kyrgyzstan’s Bishkek and capital of the China’s Xinjiang Uygur Autonomus Region Urumqi has been restored, Head of the Transport Regulation and Licensing Department of the Road Transport Agency under the Ministry of Transport of the Kyrgyz Republic Talant Nanayev said at the press conference at Kabar News Agency.

He said there were four routes from Kyrgyzstan to China, including from Osh, Bishkek and Karakol.

"A month ago, we restored a bus service between Bishkek and Urumqi," he said.

Nanayev explained all bus services to China were suspended three years ago by the Chinese side, and the reason was China's demand for customs notebooks.
