Switzerland remains the main purchaser of Uzbek exports in the first half of 2019. About 32% of Uzbekistan's exports during this period are to this country, report of Uzbekistan’s Central Bank on the balance of payments for the first half of 2019 said.

China accounts for 19.3% of Uzbekistan's total exports. The Russian Federation accounts for 14%.

Uzbekistan's main export commodity is gold, which in the first half of this year was sold in the amount of $2.1 billion. Traditionally, Switzerland has become its main buyer.

About 31% of Uzbek exports in 2017-2019 are gold, which is sold in Switzerland and England.

The volume of imports from Switzerland is relatively small - about $85 million.
